This issue of Annual is devoted to various aspects of political, economic and cultural relations between England and France during the most difficult and conflict period of their coexistence from the Hundred Years’ War till the formation of the Entente, which has transformed the once «eternal» rivals into allies. The section of historiography contains articles about prominent specialists in French studies and analytical reviews of the literature on some subjects in French history.
