The Ukrainian Cossack Serving Louis XV or the Polish Nobleman in Service of Two Kings. Critical Revision of the Study by Ilko Borschak

   This author presents a critical analyses of the monograph on Gregoire Orlyk sometime realized by Ukrainian emigrant historian Ilko Borschak. Verifying documents of the National Archives, the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Historical Service of the Ministry of Defense of France once used by Borschak the author doubts his interpretation of Orlyk as an Ukrainian Cossack in service of Louis XV.
