Annual of French Studies 2023: War and Society (2023)

This issue of the French Annual is devoted to various aspects of society's life during periods of military conflicts in the Middle Ages, Modern and Contemporary times. The authors of the articles explore particularly the attitude and reaction of various social groups to the war. The section "Historiography" contains articles about the study of some subjects of the Napoleonic Wars in various European countries, about French historians and about the latest works of Russian and foreign researchers on the history of France.
