The first section of this issue of the Annual is devoted to various aspects of the history of the Patriotic War in 1812, the second to the mutual representations of the warring nations during the Napoleonic Wars. «Historiography» section contains reviews of some of the latest publications on the history of France. There is also a bibliography of works on the history of France, published in Russia in 2011.
